Thursday, 12 Sep 2024

During their meeting on Tuesday, the Board of County Supervisors voted to extend the deadline for the county's vehicle personal property tax to Thursday, Dec. 5, 2024. This means that residents and businesses have until Dec. 5, 2024, to pay their vehicle personal property tax bills without penalty. The original due date was Oct. 7, 2024.
Residents are encouraged to pay their taxes before the due date, and can do so online via the county's taxpayer portal, in person at the Taxpayer Services Office, through the mail or over the phone. More information about how to make tax payments is available here: https://www.pwcva.gov/department/tax-administration/tax-payments.
